i need a vacation!!!

its freezing in cairo!!

i woke up today...and i felt like i just oved to scotland over nite.....its foggy and freezing takde snow jer....kalau turus snow..i dont know what to say! i miss the warm sunny days...uhuhuhuh...this weather makes me want to go on vacation to a warm place!

one of my pengajian buddy Mbak Rani suggested Italy...of course she was married to an italian and lived there for 10 years. She said that Italy is great to on vacation lots of sights and historical stuff to see which i like....old ruins...architecture...and of course the food...the fashion...and ahem ahem....the gorgeous italian men!! even the chicks are hot...everyone dresses up like they are going to a fashion show...very stylo mylo..

She suggested to go to Rome,Milan and Venice, and the best time to go will probably March/April/May or in the last summer late September or October. These places will be less crowded and the hotels in Italy are slightly cheaper.Of course u can always fine some good deals on the internet on the the rooms and some tours if u like..which i used frequently used when i was travelling in Europe back in the days..

Rome...the capital or Italy also know as the "Eternal City" home of the famous Colloseum,St Peters and the Vatican, the Forum, Pantheon and so much more.
The best place to stay is to find hotels in Rome that close to the place u want to visit..and u can go on foot and enjoy the city, of course the city trams, metro taxi can be found anywhere if u get tired. Most website i visited, suggested that u need at least 3 to 4 days to covered Rome...after all Rome wasn't build in a day!.Besides the touristic places, theres always something going on in Rome...some events are annually and some are seasonal. The Good Friday Procession in Rome is something worth catching. This is an annual events that takes place on Good Friday in April at the Palatine Hill ans starts at 8.00pm and if ure interested in music, the New Operafestival takes place between Jul-Sept 2008 its a summer events that happens annually at the Basilica di S. Clemente...just behind the Colosseum. Theres always something fro everyone Rome throughout the year! For those that thinking of travelling to Italy...here are some overview of the the country....Called Italy! ma ma Mia!!!

Milan..the fashion capitol of Italy! everyone are like supermodels..i kid u not! even i made an afford to look presentable when i was there..:D. I like Milan..its a different city then Rome. Its more modern and commercial..with its own history...Doumo is an magnificiant architecture...its made of marble with its decorative glass stained windows and its the largest gothic cathederal in the world and it smack rite in the middle of central square and from here to can go to any direction..to the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum..also the most visited museum in Italy..or to the Milan Golden Quad..the high fashion mall! most of the cafe's,restaurants and most of the hotels in Milan can be found around this area too. From luxury hotel to youth hostel all u need to do it look for it with a map or from the net. The price can range from 35 Euro to onwards and getting there is not a problem...the metro takes u too almost everywhere...If your travelling between Jan and March don't forget to stock up your wardrobe with yummylicious things...Milan Designers Sale begins in Jan ends in the beginning of March every year! and i heard that its a bargain! and if ure travelling early this year its still not to late to see the Leonardo's Lab-From Mysterious Robots to the Flying Machine its end on the 31st March 2008...that be interesting and this i would love to go and see...the world press photo exhibition in May...that be really cool!

La Serenissima, the Most Serene.....or Venice is like a Floating lagoon..and oozess romance!!! the gandola rides on the canals...cuddling with your ahem..ahem...:D. Alot of ppl i know goes to Venice on thier honeymoon.

when i think of Venice..i think of masquerade parties..yes they are famous for their mask...some are pretty some are scary but all very interesting..the best time to see all this is during the Venice Carnival annually from the 26 Jan to 5 Feb. Its a 2 weeks events filled with dances..processions..festivals everywhere in venice.Another events that is a must in Venice is the Vogalonga at St Mark's Basin in May annually. Its basically a boat race that takes place since 1975 and til now theres about 50 rowing clubs that takes part in the event.Hotels in Venice are everywhere...cheap or luxurious hotels..take your pick. These something for everyone with any budget..and most of the hotels are reachable within walking distance or by water taxi's or taxi's.
