Yummy Sticky Dates Pudding - Aust Women's Weekly


I made this for din din on day and it was heaven, it didnt look that good but its tasted really yum.....i think ill make this again today!

Its really easy and quick to prepare

cake:-
1 1/2 cup seeded dried dates
1 1/4 cup of boiling water
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
cooking oil or butter for greasing your tin
3/4 cup brown sugar
60 grm butter
2 eggs
1 cup self raising flour

caramel sauce:-
1 cup brown sugar ( this can be very sweet, if u want u can reduce this to 3/4 cup )
100g butter
300 cream

Cake:-

1.Put the dates, water and soda in your processor and just leave it for 5 mins to soften the dates
2.Add brown sugar and chopped butter to the dates mixture and process until dates are all chopped.
3. Add eggs, then flour and process untill all ingredient combined.
4.Pour pudding in your tin and cook for 50 check if cake is cooked and if its still soft add another 10 min or so until cook.
5. Cool in on the cake rack and ready to eat.

caramel sauce:-

1.Put in the sugar and butter in a saucepan over high heat and stir in the cream and keep stirring until u get your caramel sauce.

ketuhar gelombang mikro...bagus...make sure beli yang semua boleh buat nyer ok...next one u should investing in a food processor!!!! seronok!
