A morning at Al-Azhar Park

we (marie & i) took the babies to al-azhar park again today to that they can run/ crawl around and behave like kid, we left at 9am and spend the whole morning there, us mummies and the babies got alittle bit of tan!it was really humid today, we had just started walking and we all drench in sweat.....so we decided to sit on the green.

Al-Azhar park is probably the nicest park and not to mention the most well kept place u can find in Cairo.Smack in the middle of Salah Saleem Street, the park has an amazing view of the Citadel and most of cairo, in a good day with clear skies u can even see the Pyramids. Its open from 9 to late nites everyday and its usually full of poeple esp on Fridays and Saturdays (the weekends here in Egypt), i imagine that the park will be really nice at sunset and at nite. There's a little trams that goes around the park if ure tired of walking, the park is huge, there are some nice restaurants and little cafe where u can eat and sit down for drinks and u can even have a birthday parties here. Maybe for safeia's 2nd birthday party??? we shall see.....

i saw alot of malaysian students from al-azhar uni today, more then usual. How do i know they are from malaysia??? easy, they will walk pass us and whisper something in melayu...like comel nyer baby too or aku rase tu org melayu...thinking i wont understand! Bizaare but true, maybe next time ill just tegur them...they wassup karipaps!!!!....or maybe assalamualaikum dek will more appropriate.

we cameback home at noon and both babies were super tired and slept on the way back to Digla, even the mummies were abit sleepy!

I had fun today, i think the park is a well spent 5 L.E. Next time we try to bring the daddies pulak, im sure they will love it! and also try out the restaurants.

I didnt take my camera with me this time, but if u wanna click on my flickr site, they are some pictures of the park there!
