Rainbow it is!

Looks like its going to be a rainbow party this year! It is 2 months away but if i have to do everything DIY...planning is important! Found some super cute ideas while waiting for the water to come in...and what i thot was impossible is now possible....

Getting excited now and gotta get to work soon :)

My only complain is....

i love our house here in Doha though its a pain to clean but its fits us well but my only complain is that the water pumps is always going off hence every few days or more like every other day we will have to reset the pumps. We do this daily before we go to bed but sometimes when we forget...our morning will be hell...you will find husband in the toilet 1/2 soaped up with no water and kids doing funky businesses with nothing to wash with and ....we will end up with a fiasco! I hate morning fiasco!

I was just about to do my laundry and there i no water again....dammit!! and Ive been waiting for 1 hr for it to come...and its slowing coming in...sampai bila ...I'm sleepy! URGGGHHHH.

Its been fixed and re fixed but still the same i used to get the watchman to come reset it for us but we have learn to do it our self now but its still a pain.

House of Sand and Fog

i have watched this movie more then 3 times in my life but i have never completed it until tonite and i didn't even know the title but it had touched my heart. Its a simple story with a big ending.

Every time i watch this, it made me think of my parents the sacrifice they make and the things they hide from you just so could have what you want and be happy without knowing how it happened. This is a story of a father who came to America from Iran to give his family a better life and worked super hard day and nite to fulfil a dream that ends in complete disappointment and sadness and on the other hand a lady who has it all but just let it go away until it was too late. Two pll with the same goal from different perspective.

The movie was based from the book, since i haven't read the book i cant really tell how the movies compared to the book but if the movie made me cried the book will most likely make me wept.

Cleaning Frenzy at midnite

I missed cleaning today and the house floor has a layers of soft sands everywhere. The weather lately has be erratic some days are warm and some are just crappy. Caveman is off in Dubai spending sometime with a good fren and i must admit its abit lonely..silly me so what else is there to do?I washed the sofa covers, hoovered, mopped dust and watched 2 movies while doing this and I'm blogging becoz the covers are still drying in the dryer...1 hr to go.

Today i joined a book club :). Never been to one before but i keep hearing about pll joining a book club and so on...and of course O has a big book club too doesn't she? The reason i joined becoz i want to get back into my reading. I still have unread books that i got when we moved to Cairo....still unread after 4yrs and also i don't know what book to read anymore. So hopefully by joining this book club i would finally read my book and expand my horizon on books!

This month we will be reading ' Say you're one of them' looking forward to a good read and i need to finish it by 31 March....still along way to go...but we shall see :@
