i really should be working..but i just had to blog this....my new gadget!!! of course my 1st love will always be my D80...but with this i can take videos and it fits perfectly in my smaller handbags...:).
I tested it outdoor today....its good...but it did take some adjusting from the D80...its soo small that it felt awkward in my hands and using the LCD was also weird..the 1st time i used it, i wanted to put it to my eye...hehehehe silly me..not to mention that my hand was shakin everytime i take pictures..
i guess all things needs some getting use to...but for the price i paid..im lovin it...
i was at Khan Khalili last thursday with some frens for some window shopping and gift hunting, i need to get my father in law ( FIL) and sis in law ( SIL ) something for their upcoming bday. It was a brilliant day....its sunny some cool breeze not shabby..although we did get stuck in traffic for a while poor shilme..had to wait for us for almost 30 mins or maybe more ??? ...:D sorry babe!
We came across this shop as we were trying to find some food.."All good things are in heaven, we are upstair " there's a placard in the shop with this written on it...how intriguing! ...the shop is fully decorated with beautiful ornament made by blow glass in diff colors..really nice on the 1st floor,after we saw the sign...of course we had to see what was upstairs...well i was smiling from cheek to cheek...it was super nice...and full of everything and anything...from ornaments...lamps..cups..glasses..etc..makes u wanna buy everything and they have them in every single color! u can also costume make them to your liking..GERAM!. this is something i will buy before we leave Egypt...a nice colored chandelier maybe...:D i hope i remember the way to this shop!
We had lunch at one of the cafes and i did something silly..a cat jumped on it and i scream...yes i did...call me a woos but i was abit terkejut! kekeke...everyone looked at our table, it was waiting to happen anyway, the cat has been eying on my felafel...a vegan cat!
anyway..i had fun..i got what i was looking for...a Quran for the FIL and a nice stone bracelet for the SIL... :) and a little something for the house ..mission accomplish!
this is one of fav flowers...and i also know that bestie's is also going crazy with them..so is my mama..she had be trying to plant them since forever but doesn't seems to want to flower anymore..i remembered these beauties at my aunt's place. she had the growing everywhere but of course at the time i had no idea what flowers there were..but i did thot that they were beautiful..esp the colors its amazing the colors these flowers can have which i know depends on the soil that u use...:D... when i got married...i asked the florist to add one hydrangeas with some roses to my wedding bouquet..it was pinkish, white and a tint of purple on the side and it was huge...but i liked it and i had little purple hydrangeas for my bunga pahar ( no idea what they call it in english :D )
it the hydrangeas season here in egypt...every florist are selling them and they dont come cheap! i got myself a plant 2 days back....for 125 l.e but it ws full of flowers in full bloom and some that are still babies...and they are gorgeous!...the florist said to flower them twice a day and no direct sunlight..i was googling about them this morning and i found this...a website on the care of hydrangeas..http://www.hydrangeashydrangeas.com/mopheads.html . i never knew there were other type of hydrangeas..hehehe.
was flipping thru the channels on the telly and i came across a movie that was very familiar...but somehow i couldn't remember whats the title of it. I got curious and i thot alrite ill watching it for a few mins...and then...he walks in....Special Agent Johnny Utah...then it knew i was watching Point Break with yummy Keanu Reeves..ahhhhhh he is just the bomb! til now...his latest movie is coming out in April apparently and its called Street Kings..so ill be watching out for that! The 1st time i watch Point Break i totaly fell in love with him...and trust me its very difficult not too..coz he is just...sooo yumss! and at the time....it was either u like Keanu Reeves or Brad Pitt they we were the two hotties at the time...but i guess over time..brad pitt got more popular! i've lost track of how many times i watch Speed over and over again...at a when VHS was the thing..and borrowing movies from Etak Vids in sitiwan was our past time..i was tempted to keep the tape..but i figured if i keep it then they will ban me from borrowing anymore tapes soo...as a good samaritan i returned it....so what we did was we reborrow it again and again..we did the same with hocus focus too kekeke..
so yeah Keanu Reeves is my old time fav actor....i hope to see him more on the screen..he's be awfully quiet these days...
oh yeah...he's a rockstar too......*winks* but i think the band split up sometime ago..

seems that 2008 is the year to have babies...y? maybe becoz it 2008 and 8 is 'ong'..dont know..but i am serrounded my preggo ladees...2 nites back i was the only none preeggo lady in the house...:D..should i try to have a baby this year too? hmmm...question mark ???? i guess it all depends.. whether if i go back to work or not...or maybe i will wait for lilmisskechik & tall munchkin....:D.
my fren samira is almost there now...4 weeks to go.and she is starting to freakout!! hahaha..but she is almost there..the room is ready the bag is packed...all she needs is to rest and wait for the baby to come...::D i cant wait too...i bet u she will be beauty!! malay mum and a belgien daddy...watch out adrianna lima...*winks*. 3 months back she was worried that her bump was showing bla..bla..bla...and it wasnt even showing that much...i told her that u cant hide the fact that ure preggie besides preggie women are sexy..so u might as well show the bump then she started to buy some really cool stuff and she looks great!! come to think about it.i noticed that most of them here are drapped in blankie like clothes when they are preggie...the kind that we all dread to wear!!
i remember before i was married...i swore that i will ever let myself wear those baju mengandung ever...and i never did! i was lucky when was preggie the fashion was those hippy tops thats loose and empire cut stuff...so i just buy them one size bigger and i was good til i reached 7 months after that i just went huge!! so i had no choice but too buy maternity clothes...
i esp like the ones from TopShop and DP..esp the jeans they are very comfy..and there are some small little shop in plaza damas that sell designers maternity stuff tooo but of course they cost a bom!!...i actually brought one for a fren's wedding...i was desperate and it was a nice dress...sexy too...:) i got drinks send over to me in that dress..hahahahaha...the pregnant lady effect!
theres alot of site that sale them too..and theya re very nice. Im not very big n the internet buying stuff..after i got cheated on ebay...:().
