We tried on a sitter last Thursday so that me and caveman could have a date nite and the girls loved her which makes things easier for us. Since it was the 1st time with the sitter, we didn't want to leave them for too long. We ended up watching a movie at a nearby mall.
What did we watch??? something i wouldn't recommend to anyone ' The Las
t Exorcism '. The movie sucked big time...although i was a little freaked out but it was not
worth 35 QAR and plus..it was the worst movie experience i have ever had. I was actually
surprised that i would get a ticket coz it was busy....there was 3 seat left and they were good seats. So we went in and as we walked in we were both shocked at the audience 1st of all we
were the only no arabic speaker and most of them were kids....i mean this was a 18 rated movie! so we thot OK...maybe the kids here are super brave. As soon as the movie started....the whole theater was like a market place...pll talking...mobile phones ringing...bb beeping...foot on the
chairs....comments flying around every time there was a scary part or some skin showing...alot of wooo...booo....etc. It was insane. The pll behind us was talking nonstop despite of our constance stares and shhhhh.I even wonder why are they here in the 1st place...i mean go to a coffee shop and blab all you want. At the end of the movie, we came out completely annoyed and i actually felt cheated. Some pll need to learn some cinema attics coz i am soo not payi
ng another 35 QAR to seat and watch a movie with a bunch of bozoo!
Then we had supper at Dean Delluca which was nice with some entertainment...people
watching :D. Thursday nite is always good for pll watching u will see all sorts of fashion. Yes a strange conversation to have with a man but it was unavoidable. You see, what we noticed over here and middle east, the ladies in abayas...will always be in super killer heels and look super elegant and underneath that black cloak its always a mystery. I get very
fascinated and always try to peek and see what shoes and clothed they have underneath like a peeping tommie hahaha sometimes when they glide (yes these women don't walk but they glide) you can catch a glimpse. Where else the men, always in their 'dishdash' and platform slipper so that they don't get their white crisp 'dishdash' dirty and they look very nice too....some very charismatic mbut that nite what we
noticed was that some of them left their national clothes for some modern fashion and boy oh boy...all i can say is that they should just stick to the 'dishdash' ,i wanted to take some pictures but i didn't want to be too obvious. There were bold colors, prints and big huge brand names in every peice of clothes from the cap to the shoes.Brand overkill!.
Neither me nor caveman are fashion gurus but lastnite ppl watching was alot of fun :) It would be interesting to see how we both look like in abayas and the 'dishdash' :).
In the end it was goodnite out...minus the movie of course, but with 30 QAR per hr for the sitter...we have to choose our datenite well and make it worth while.
